What we install in Pinecrest
On a large lot the front door is a long way from the street, so the gate does the greeting. We put video, intercom and access control at the driveway, tie the gate into the same app as the house, and let you admit a delivery or a guest from the kitchen or from abroad. Perimeter cameras cover the hedges and side yards a doorbell camera never sees, and landscape lighting is routed around root zones in a village recognized as a Tree City USA.
Outdoors gets the same attention as indoors: garden speakers spread evenly across a pool terrace so nothing has to be loud, pathway lighting that follows the walk from gate to door, and outdoor access points so the network works at the cabana and the guest house. Inside, lighting scenes, motorized shades, zoned climate and audio and video run from one control platform.
How a Pinecrest project runs
A new house on one of the original ranch lots starts at the drawing stage: conduit to the gate, speaker and camera locations across the grounds, shade pockets, the equipment room and a wired backbone to any separate structure. How do you cover an acre lot with cameras and Wi-Fi?
By treating it as a campus rather than a house. Cameras are placed for the perimeter and the approaches, not just the doors, and the network uses a wired backbone to outdoor access points and to any separate structure, so the signal is designed rather than hoped for. Can I let someone in at the gate when I am not home?
Yes. The gate camera and intercom ring to your phone, you see and speak to the visitor, and one tap opens the gate, with a record of who came and went. The same credential system runs the front door, the garage and the pool gate.
Does the system keep working during a storm or an outage?
That is designed in. We coordinate with your generator or battery installer so the network, cameras, gate and core controls stay on transfer power, and a storm mode secures shades, lighting and doors from one button. Can this be added to an existing Pinecrest house?
Yes. Wireless lighting control and wire-free shades go in without opening walls, outdoor audio and cameras run on shallow, root-aware routes, and the network is rebuilt around a wired core. A survey tells us what the house allows and what the trees permit.
