Cinema, with or without the theater

A dedicated theater is a room built around a single purpose: making you forget the room. We handle sightlines, seating rake, screen geometry, acoustic treatment and projection light paths as one design, working alongside your architect and builder from the first drawings. The finished room performs at reference level on opening night and every night after, because it was engineered and measured rather than assembled.

Not every home wants a dark room behind a door. Living-room cinema brings the same discipline to the space you actually live in — a screen that appears when the lights dim, speakers hidden in the architecture, and sound tuned to the furniture, glass and stone already there. Guests see a beautiful room; you see the best seat in the house.

Music that moves with you

Invisible and architectural speakers disappear into plaster, millwork and ceilings, leaving full-range music and clean walls. Start an album in the kitchen and it follows you to the bath, the gym, the lanai — each zone tuned for its own acoustics, all playing in step. Outside, carefully aimed landscape audio wraps the pool and terrace in sound that stays inside your property line, not your neighbor's evening.

What that includes

CAPABILITY 06 / 06
01

Private Cinema

A dedicated theater, or a living room that becomes one — reference picture and sound, either way.

02

Invisible Speakers

Full-range sound from plaster, millwork and ceilings. You hear everything and see nothing.

03

Music That Follows You

Start a song in the kitchen; it moves with you to the bath, gym and lanai.

04

Outdoor Audio

Landscape sound that wraps the pool and terrace — and stops at your property line.

05

One Remote, One App

Every screen, every zone, one gesture — the whole house answers to a single hand.

06

Acoustics & Calibration

Every room measured, treated and tuned to sound the way it was designed to.

One remote, kept in tune

Complexity is our job, not yours. One remote and one app run every screen and every zone — the same gesture in the theater, the family room and out by the pool. Before we hand it over, every system is measured and calibrated to the room it lives in, because a South Florida great room of glass and stone behaves nothing like a treated theater.

And it stays that way. Every system ioty installs is backed by our Client Care monitoring and service plans — we watch your system from our headquarters in Doral, resolve issues remotely, often before you notice them, and keep firmware, calibration and performance exactly where they were the night we handed you the remote. The relationship doesn't end at handover; that's where it starts.

Questions, answered plainly

Can whole-home audio work without any visible speakers?

Yes. ioty, a home technology integrator based in Doral, Miami, installs invisible and architectural speakers that mount behind plaster or blend into ceilings and millwork, delivering full-range sound with no visible hardware. In luxury South Florida homes we routinely design audio for spaces where designers want clean walls and ceilings — the music is heard, the equipment never seen.

When should a home theater be designed into a new build?

As early as possible — ideally during architectural design. We work with the architect and builder to plan theater dimensions, sightlines, acoustic treatment, wiring paths and equipment space before walls close. Retrofitting a theater after finishes is possible, but early coordination avoids compromise and unnecessary cost.

Will outdoor speakers by the pool disturb my neighbors?

Not when designed properly. We use multiple small landscape speakers placed low and aimed inward, so sound stays even across your pool and terrace at modest volume rather than blasting from two loud speakers on a wall. The result is music that fills your yard and fades at the property line.
