What we install in Brickell

Shades come first. Solar fabrics keep the view while cutting glare, blackout layers make a bedroom dark at noon, and wire-free motors mount to the frame or ceiling with no penetration of the structure. Lighting control replaces the existing switches with wireless keypads and dimmers, so scenes for morning, dinner and the view go in without a wall opened. Our condo shade guide explains the choices.

Audio and video hide in millwork and ceilings, with a television that disappears when the view should win. The network is designed for concrete, steel and a building full of competing signals: wired access points placed for the floor plan, an equipment closet sized to the unit, and remote monitoring so a fault is fixed from Doral before you notice it. Zoned climate keeps humidity under control behind all that glass.

How a Brickell project runs

We start with a survey of the unit and the building’s rules, then design around both: what mounts where, what the association reviews, when the freight elevator can be booked and how the work fits the move-in date. Systems are designed and programmed in-house in Doral and arrive ready to install, and our network guide explains why a tower needs its own approach.

ioty is a Lutron Sapphire dealer and a Savant Elite Ambassador. Every system is designed, programmed and serviced from our Doral headquarters, our Design District showroom demonstrates lighting and shading by appointment, and Client Care keeps the house current after move-in.

Questions, answered plainly

Does ioty work in Brickell?

Yes. ioty, a home technology integrator based in Doral, Miami, designs, installs and services motorized shades, lighting control, climate, cameras, access and whole-home audio and video for condos and penthouses across Brickell. Consultations happen at the unit or in our Doral showroom, where every system runs live.

Can shades go in without drilling into the slab?

Yes. Wire-free motorized shades mount to the window frame or the ceiling, run on battery packs and are controlled from the same keypads and app as the lighting. Our condo shade guide covers wired and wire-free options and where each fits.

How do you handle the association and building rules?

We read them before we design. Anything visible from outside the unit, anything that touches the structure and any work-hour or elevator rules are built into the plan, and we coordinate with building management on scheduling.

Why is Wi-Fi bad in my high-rise, and can you fix it?

Concrete and steel block the signal and neighboring units crowd the same channels. We design the network as its own system: wired access points placed for the floor plan, an equipment closet sized to the unit, and monitoring from Doral. Our guide to Wi-Fi in large homes explains the principles.

Can this be done before I move in?

Often, yes. Shades, lighting control and audio can be installed in a finished unit, and a survey early in the purchase lets us order fabrics and hardware so the work is scheduled around your closing and the building’s calendar.
